If you’ve had a look at the market recently for rackmount style LiFePO4 battery modules, you’ll see there is a new competitor in the Australian market every month, presenting a battery that supposedly will outperform the rest on the market for the lowest price! So, how does one know what is real and what is marketing hype in all that noise? Well, the proof is in the pudding!
When ZYC came around, we decided to put them through their paces to see how they measure up against the competition – to say we were impressed is a massive understatement!
This is no marketing hype and we are not on their payroll, these batteries have a host of features that others in the market lack, we have field tested ourselves (Hot swap modules, full Victron integration, unmanaged modes, low temperature charging and more!). I’ve also peeked under the hood, and the build quality is impressive.
And even the best built battery is not much good if the after sales service, support, and importantly the warranty is flimsy – to say ZYC’s staff have gone above and beyond any I have experienced in a decade in this industry is not giving them enough credit.
