Victron Phoenix Inverter 24/3000 230V VE.Bus

$1,622.95

Pure sine wave output, high peak power and high efficiency. Combined high frequency and line frequency technologies ensure the best of both worlds.

SinusMax – Superior engineering
Developed for professional duty, this range of inverters is suitable for the widest range of applications. The design criteria have been to produce a true sine wave inverter with optimised efficiency but without compromise in performance. Employing hybrid HF technology, the result is a top quality product with compact dimensions, light in weight and capable of supplying power, problem free, to any load.

Parallel and 3-phase operation capability
Up to 6 Inverters can operate in parallel to achieve higher power output. Six 24 V 5000 VA units, for example, will provide 24 kW / 30 kVA output power. Operation in 3-phase configuration is also possible.

Description

SinusMax – Superior engineering

Developed for professional duty, this range of inverters is suitable for the widest range of applications. The design
criteria have been to produce a true sine wave inverter with optimized efficiency but without compromise in
performance. Employing hybrid HF technology, the result is a top quality product with compact dimensions, light
in weight and capable of supplying power, problem-free, to any load.

Extra start-up power

A unique feature of the SinusMax technology is very high start-up power. Conventional high frequency
technology does not offer such extreme performance. The Inverters, however, are well suited to power up difficult
loads such as refrigeration compressors, electric motors and similar appliances.

Virtually unlimited power thanks to parallel and 3-phase operation capability

Up to 6 units inverters can operate in parallel to achieve higher power output. Six 24/5000 units, for example, will
provide 24 kW / 30 kVA output power. Operation in 3-phase configuration is also possible.

To transfer the load to another AC source: the automatic transfer switch

If an automatic transfer switch is required we recommend using the MultiPlus inverter/charger instead. The switch
is included in these products and the charger function of the MultiPlus can be disabled. Computers and other
electronic equipment will continue to operate without disruption because the MultiPlus features a very short
switchover time (less than 20 milliseconds).

Communications interface

These larger inverter models come with a VE.Bus port. All you need to connect to your PC is our MK3-USB VE.Bus
to USB interface (see under accessories). Together with our VictronConnect or VEConfigure software, which can
be downloaded free of charge from our website, parameters of the inverters can be customized. This includes
output voltage and frequency, over and under voltage settings and programming the relay. This relay can for
example be used to signal several alarm conditions, or to start a generator. The inverters can also be connected
to a GX device (eg Cerbo GX) for monitoring and control.

New applications of high power inverters

The possibilities of paralleled high power inverters are truly amazing. For ideas, examples and battery capacity
calculations please refer to our book ‘Energy Unlimited’ (available free of charge from Victron Energy and
downloadable from www.victronenergy.com).

Shipping

HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING?

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the contents of your cart and the shipping address. This takes into account product weight and dimensions, and whether the location being sent to is metro, regional or remote. The price will change depending on whether it is a commercial or residential address. There is an extra charge for items marked as *Dangerous Goods by the courier.

Please note, that we are currently using Freight Exchange as a freight broker. Their terms & conditions are listed here.

WHERE DO YOU SHIP?

We ship to most destinations in Australia. If the checkout does not allow your shipping address, please contact us and we will see what we can do to help.

WHO DO YOU SHIP WITH?

We use different couriers depending on rates and services available, including Border Express, Couriers Please and Australia Post. If you have a specific reason to use or not use a particular courier please let us know.

what about insurance?

We will generally insure any delivery above $500, BUT;

Freight damages MUST be reported to us within 24 hours of delivery for insurance claims on damages to be realised. Where possible please inspect the delivery for external damage to the packaging, and if damage is suspected inspect the goods BEFORE signing for the delivery.

Please refuse any obviously damaged deliveries (smashed panels, dented batteries) and ask the delivery driver to return the delivery to the depot and report the damages to us ASAP.

If you have granted “Authority to leave” or missed the driver, or have your delivery made to a depot, have the receiver inspect the delivery and please report any freight damage to us directly with photos via email within 24 hours of the delivery being made.

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee damages will be covered by insurance if they are reported after 24 hours from the time of delivery.

How Long Does the shipping take?

It varies greatly based on the destination and the products ordered. Orders are usually dispatched from our warehouse in Preston, VIC within 48 hours. You can use the estimates below as a rough guide for shipping time:

  • VIC and SA: 1-2 days
  • QLD and NSW: 2-3 days
  • NT, WA and TAS: 3-10 days +

These estimates do not apply if the destination is regional or remote. Once orders leave our warehouse we have very little control over the actual shipping time. If you need a more accurate estimate of shipping time please contact us.
