SolarKing 12V 240Ah 150A BMS Lithium Iron Battery
SolarKing lithium batteries are the future of battery storage. Lithium batteries are much lighter than traditional lead acid batteries and deliver unrivalled cycle life, more than 4 times more cycles when compared to lead acid batteries.
Perfect for use in caravans, marine, camping and home storage applications. The batteries are fully sealed and an in built battery management system for safety protection.
If you are replacing an existing deep cycle lead acid battery you can continue to use your same battery charging system as the built-in battery management system with do the rest for you. You will also notice that lithium batteries charge more efficiently than lead acid batteries so the recovery will be much quicker.
This model SolarKing lithium battery use’s Active cell balancing technology to balance the internal battery cells not only whilst charging but also whilst discharging. This assist’s in getting the battery as close to 100% charge levels as possible.
This 240AH LiFePo4 model is in a metal case and has our high output 150A BMS for higher current demand requirements. As example running a 1800W inverter with one battery.

The term “lithium battery” or “lithium cell” refers to a family of batteries with different chemistries, comprising many types of cathodes and electrolytes. They are separated into:
(I) Lithium-ion batteries (Including lithium polymer batteries)
Rechargeable batteries are commonly used in consumer electronics such as Laptops, Mobile phones, MP3 players, Portable DVD players, GPS/navigation systems, Cameras, Camcorders, Scuba-diving lamps, Power tools, etc.
(II) Lithium metal batteries (Including lithium alloy batteries) Non-rechargeable/disposable batteries that have lithium metal or lithium compounds as an anode and are generally used in small, portable electronic devices, such as Watches, Thermometers, Remote car locks, Backup batteries in computers and communication equipment, etc.
All shipments containing Lithium Batteries are subject to dangerous goods regulations for air, road and sea transport. All lithium batteries are Class 9, Miscellaneous Dangerous Goods.
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the contents of your cart and the shipping address. This takes into account product weight and dimensions, and whether the location being sent to is metro, regional or remote. The price will change depending on whether it is a commercial or residential address. There is an extra charge for items marked as *Dangerous Goods by the courier.

Preston Off Grid specialise in Victron Energy products, which are known for their reliability and efficiency, making them a top choice for solar setups. Whether you’re looking to power your home, RV, or boat, they’ve got you covered.
Now, pair that with Lightium batteries, and you’re looking at a pretty solid solar setup. Lightium batteries are high-quality lithium options that store solar energy efficiently, ensuring you have power even when the sun isn’t shining. When you connect these batteries to a Victron system, you’re setting yourself up for an energy-efficient and reliable power solution.
Solar panels, the starting point of any solar power system, are available in various types and capacities. In Melbourne, Victron offers a wide selection that can suit different needs and budgets. Whether you’re going for a small off-grid setup or a full-scale solar power solution, they’ve got the panels and expertise to help you get the most out of your investment.
In summary, Victron Melbourne, combined with Lightium batteries, makes for a powerful combo in the world of solar energy, ensuring you have a reliable, efficient, and sustainable power source
Australia is one of the best places in the world for solar power. With plenty of sunny days, solar panels can generate a significant amount of electricity, helping you slash your energy bills. Plus, there are government incentives and rebates that make the initial investment more affordable.
When buying solar panels in Australia, it’s crucial to consider a few key factors:
The cost of solar panels in Australia has dropped significantly in recent years, making it more affordable than ever. While the upfront cost can vary depending on the size of the system and the quality of the panels, many homeowners find that their investment pays for itself within a few years thanks to reduced energy bills.
Additionally, there are government incentives available, like the Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme (SRES), which provides financial incentives to reduce the cost of installing solar panels.
For those looking to live completely independent of the grid, off-grid solar systems are an excellent option. Off-grid solar is perfect for rural properties or anyone wanting to ensure they have a reliable power source even in the event of grid outages.
Off-grid systems typically include solar panels, battery storage, an inverter, and often a backup generator. This setup allows you to generate and store your own electricity, giving you complete energy independence. While the initial cost of going off-grid can be higher, it eliminates ongoing electricity bills and gives you the freedom to live sustainably, no matter where you are in Victoria.
Victoria’s climate, with its mix of sunny and cloudy days, still offers great potential for solar power generation. High-quality solar panels are designed to perform well even in lower light conditions, making them an excellent choice for Victorian homes.
When selecting solar panels, it’s important to consider the efficiency, durability, and warranty offered by the manufacturer. Panels with a strong warranty (typically 25 years) and high efficiency will provide the best return on investment over time. Many Victorian homeowners find that their solar systems pay for themselves within a few years, thanks to savings on electricity bills and incentives from the Solar Homes Program.
